About
Every student, understood.
CeliaConnect turns your Slate data into daily action — built specifically for higher-education enrollment teams. At the heart of the product is Celia, an AI advisor architected on a fundamentally different principle than any other enrollment tool on the market: it never sees a student’s personal information.
Why we exist
Your counselors are already using AI. Most of them have pasted student details into ChatGPT. Most institutions have no policy they can enforce — and no sanctioned alternative to offer. Meanwhile, enterprise analytics vendors take six months to onboard and ask for every field in your SIS to build predictive models they then train on your data.
Both paths leave the institution exposed. One leaks student PII to a consumer chatbot that a counselor pays for out of pocket. The other hands identifiable education records to a vendor whose incentive is to use them to improve a shared model.
We think there is a better path. Give counselors real AI help that lives inside Slate, where they already work. Give CIOs and data-protection officers an architecture they can say yes to on the first pass of review. And give enrollment VPs the daily action list they have been asking for — drafted overnight, ready at 6 AM, grounded in specific signals rather than guesses.
The whole product falls out of one design choice: Celia is not allowed to see a name. Everything else — per-tenant isolation, writeback to Slate, daily cadence, honest-pricing — is downstream of that decision. The Security & Privacy page walks through how that guarantee is enforced, hop by hop.
Who we are
CeliaConnect is a product of Zentrosoft, LLC, a New York–based software studio. We are small, bootstrapped, and deliberate about scope. We would rather do one thing exceptionally well for Slate institutions than ship a thin product that serves every CRM and serves none of them the way they deserve.
The team behind CeliaConnect comes from inside Slate — writing the queries, building the Source Formats, tagging the interactions, and watching admissions teams try to extract signal from a thousand-row list view at 7 AM. CeliaConnect is the tool we wished existed while we were doing that work: one that answers “who needs attention today?” before the counselor has had coffee, grounded in the data the institution already owns, without ever shipping student identity to an AI that has no business seeing it.
That lived experience shapes the product every day. When we design a Flow, we design around how enrollment teams actually schedule their mornings. When we design writeback, we design around the Slate fields your counselors already filter on. Nothing about CeliaConnect asks the enrollment team to learn a new tool.
CeliaConnect is led by Wilson Polanco, founder of Zentrosoft, LLC. Wilson is a Slate Certified Professional (Technolutions, 2026) — the same certification your Slate captain holds — and completed Johns Hopkins University’s AI Business Strategy program in January 2026. The product reflects both backgrounds: built on Slate’s mechanics, designed around how AI should and shouldn’t be applied to student data. Verify the credentials on LinkedIn.
How we build
Every institution gets its own isolated workspace, encrypted credentials, and a full audit trail. The most important part: by design, the AI never sees student names, emails, or any other identifying details — so a leak of student identity isn’t something we have to prevent, it’s something the system isn’t built to do.
We hold ourselves to a higher bar than most early-stage vendors because higher ed deserves it. Our How it works and Security & Privacy pages explain it in plain language. For institutional security reviews, we publish a full whitepaper on request.
What we promise
We will never take more data than we need. We will never sell your data. We will never train models on it. If you leave, your ss_celia_* fields stay in Slate — they belong to you and we have no mechanism to reach back in.
When a subscription ends, we hold the per-tenant database for a 30-day grace period in case of re-activation, then permanently delete it along with the Vectorize index and Slate credential cache. We retain a tamper-evident cryptographic receipt of the deletion as proof of date and scope. Extended encrypted archives of tenant data are not retained by default; longer retention can be configured by written agreement in the DPA.
We will tell you the truth even when it is uncomfortable. About what the product can and cannot do today. About what we are seeing across institutions. About the cases where Celia gets it wrong and why. We treat honest communication as a competitive advantage, not as a liability to manage. Reach us at [email protected].
